　　1989年本科畢業(yè)于安徽科技學(xué)院畜牧獸醫(yī)系，1992年碩士畢業(yè)于南京農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)后回安徽科技學(xué)院任教。期間于1996.8-1997.6在對外經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易大學(xué)德語中心集訓(xùn)，1997.8-1998.6作為國家教委代表團(tuán)的成員訪問德國，1998.4-1999.12在安徽科技學(xué)院主持畜牧獸醫(yī)系行政工作。2005.12畢業(yè)于美國Auburn大學(xué)獸醫(yī)學(xué)院，獲生物醫(yī)學(xué)博士學(xué)位。2010.5-2012.7任Ross大學(xué)獸醫(yī)學(xué)院助理教授，2012.8被聘為“江蘇特聘教授”并加盟揚州大學(xué)獸醫(yī)學(xué)院，2013.4被聘為美國奧本大學(xué)客座教授。
　　主要從事肺炎衣原體發(fā)病機(jī)理、分子診斷學(xué)、感染和慢性炎癥性疾病相關(guān)性的研究。迄今已申請/獲得13項國際、國內(nèi)專利，發(fā)表論文45篇，在The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Infection and Immunity, Genetics, Genes and Immunity, Journal of Clinical Microbiology 等SCI期刊上發(fā)表論文25篇?，F(xiàn)為Journal of Microbiology and Microbial Research 的主編， Journal of Infection in Developing Countries 的科學(xué)編輯，以及International Journal of Diabetes 和Open Veterinary Journal 的編委。

　　研究方向和領(lǐng)域：
　　分子診斷學(xué)、獸醫(yī)微生物學(xué)和感染性肥胖（infectobesity）的分子機(jī)理。
