  1991年?yáng)|南大學(xué)自控系本科畢業(yè);2001年清華大學(xué)博士畢業(yè),留校任教。2005年清華大學(xué)電機(jī)系副教授,2010年清華大學(xué)電機(jī)系教授、博導(dǎo)。主要從事無(wú)損檢測(cè)、電磁測(cè)量等領(lǐng)域的教學(xué)和研究工作,長(zhǎng)期在跨學(xué)科層次上從事關(guān)鍵基礎(chǔ)科學(xué)問(wèn)題的研究。近年來(lái),主要從事在役設(shè)施活動(dòng)缺陷檢測(cè)領(lǐng)域的研究工作。理論研究與實(shí)際應(yīng)用并重,所研發(fā)的油氣管道缺陷在線內(nèi)檢測(cè)器應(yīng)用在中石油、中石化和中海油,以及國(guó)外眾多檢測(cè)工程中,累計(jì)檢測(cè)油氣管道2萬(wàn)多公里,國(guó)內(nèi)檢測(cè)工程市場(chǎng)占有率達(dá)到50%以上,并使國(guó)產(chǎn)油氣管道檢測(cè)設(shè)備首次走出國(guó)門。打破國(guó)外技術(shù)壟斷,首次實(shí)現(xiàn)了海底油氣管道缺陷在線內(nèi)檢測(cè)。主持1項(xiàng)國(guó)家重大科學(xué)儀器設(shè)備開(kāi)發(fā)專項(xiàng)項(xiàng)目和3項(xiàng)國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金,主持863專項(xiàng)項(xiàng)目、鐵道部重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目、國(guó)家科技支撐計(jì)劃課題和國(guó)際合作項(xiàng)目多項(xiàng)。獲得省部級(jí)和行業(yè)科技獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)10余次。以第一作者出版專著4本、教材2本。發(fā)表論文200多篇,被SCI檢索40余篇,EI收錄90多篇。獲發(fā)明專利20余項(xiàng)。
