1983年畢業(yè)于西安交通大學(xué)電機(jī)系,獲學(xué)士學(xué)位;1991年西安交通大學(xué)碩士研究生畢業(yè),獲工學(xué)碩士學(xué)位;1996年西安交通大學(xué)博士研究生畢業(yè),獲博士學(xué)位;1999年天津大學(xué)電工博士后流動(dòng)站博士后出站并被引進(jìn)清華大學(xué)電機(jī)系任教至今。1998年任副教授,2004年晉升教授,2005年任博士生導(dǎo)師。IET Fellow, IEEE Senior Member, 中國(guó)電工技術(shù)學(xué)會(huì)理事,中國(guó)電機(jī)工程學(xué)會(huì)高級(jí)會(huì)員,兼職國(guó)立臺(tái)北科技大學(xué)首席國(guó)際教授。先后主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金重大國(guó)際合作項(xiàng)目、重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目、面上項(xiàng)目、國(guó)際合作項(xiàng)目6項(xiàng),主持科技部國(guó)際合作項(xiàng)目1項(xiàng),大型國(guó)際合作項(xiàng)目(清華大學(xué)ALSTOM聯(lián)合研究中心)1項(xiàng)。主要學(xué)術(shù)貢獻(xiàn)是:最早把小波變換應(yīng)用于電力系統(tǒng)故障分析和故障行波研究,發(fā)明了現(xiàn)代行波測(cè)距技術(shù)、現(xiàn)代行波保護(hù)技術(shù)、行波選線技術(shù)并研制出國(guó)內(nèi)外首例暫態(tài)行波保護(hù)測(cè)試儀;提出并實(shí)現(xiàn)了面向電力系統(tǒng)安全的站域集成保護(hù)技術(shù);與ALSTOM公司合作提出并實(shí)現(xiàn)了電力線路無(wú)通道保護(hù)技術(shù)和高阻接地故障檢測(cè)技術(shù)等。圍繞上述研究,發(fā)表SCI/EI論文297篇,撰寫學(xué)術(shù)著作2部、翻譯學(xué)術(shù)著作4部,獲授權(quán)國(guó)際專利12項(xiàng)、國(guó)家發(fā)明專利38項(xiàng);獲日內(nèi)瓦國(guó)際發(fā)明展金獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、國(guó)家技術(shù)發(fā)明獎(jiǎng)二等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)、中國(guó)電力技術(shù)發(fā)明獎(jiǎng)一等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng),其它省部級(jí)獎(jiǎng)一、二等獎(jiǎng)5項(xiàng)。擔(dān)任中國(guó)電機(jī)工程學(xué)會(huì)、中國(guó)電工技術(shù)學(xué)會(huì)、中國(guó)水力發(fā)電工程學(xué)會(huì)、國(guó)家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化委員會(huì)、國(guó)家電網(wǎng)公司等多個(gè)專委會(huì)的委員,擔(dān)任中國(guó)科學(xué)出版社《智能電網(wǎng)》、《電力系統(tǒng)自動(dòng)化》雜志、PAC World等多個(gè)國(guó)內(nèi)外叢書、期刊的編委和特約主編,主辦2015 IEEE APAP大型國(guó)際會(huì)議1次、中韓繼電保護(hù)論壇11次,與跨國(guó)公司ALSTOM成立并成功運(yùn)行聯(lián)合研究中心12年,申報(bào)并獲批北京市綠色能源與電力安全國(guó)際技術(shù)合作基地。
